Pinot Noir, more than any other grape varietal, expresses in aromas and flavors the nuances of its growing conditions, its “terroir.” This unusual affinity with nature animates our traditional vineyard methods and winemaking practices. 

Born of Rock. Raised by Wind.

Our vines are rooted in glacial moraine with rocks ranging from ounces to tons. Our wine expresses this rugged terroir in its mineral clarity and vibrant acidity. 

Our vineyard is pummeled by gale force Columbia River Gorge winds, giving rise to think-skinned grapes and wines with textured mouthfeel, and succulent fruit flavors.

Wine is a living liquid, and its life originates in the vineyard. Our goal is to sustain a whole vineyard ecosystem by farming organically and tending the land gently.

Natural Winemaking

Wine is textured flavors in motion. We follow natural winemaking practices in the winery to ensure that the textured flavors of our Pinot express only grapes and wild yeasts indigenous to our vineyard.
